consideration copies of a proposed Bill intituled an Ordinanc
to consolidate and amend the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank
Ordinances, 1866 and 1924.

Messrs. Johnson, Stokes and Master, solicitors
for the Bank have requested that the draft Bill and Regulations be forwarded to you for approval before it's their
introduction to the Legislative Council here.
The Bill has been considered in Executive
Council and its transmission to you approved.
